Job Description
East Point Farm is seeking reliable and hardworking Farm Workers to support daily agricultural operations at our farm in Leamington, Ontario. This role involves hands-on farm work such as planting, harvesting, crop maintenance, and general field duties.
This opportunity is suitable for individuals who are physically fit, enjoy outdoor work, and are willing to follow farm safety standards. Foreign workers who are legally eligible to work in Canada may apply. Employer support for work authorization may be available where permitted under Canadian regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Planting, harvesting, and handling crops
- Sorting, grading, and packing farm produce
- Operating basic farm tools and equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas
- Assisting with irrigation and crop care
- Following health, safety, and biosecurity rules
- Performing general farm labor tasks as required
Qualifications & Skills
- No formal education required
- Prior farm or agricultural experience is an asset
- Ability to perform physical work for long hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic communication skills (English preferred)
- Team-oriented and dependable work attitude
Salary
- Hourly wage: CAD $16.55 – $18.00 per hour
- Overtime may be paid according to Ontario employment standards
