Farm Labourer
LCP FARMS INC. is a family-owned and operated farm specializing in growing high-quality watermelons. We are located about 20 minutes west of London, Ontario. We take great pride in our land and use sustainable practices to ensure we produce the best-tasting melons for our community.
We are looking for hardworking and dependable people to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. This is a manual labour role where you will work outside and help with all stages of crop production. It is a great chance to learn about Canadian agriculture in a friendly and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Hand harvest watermelons and squash when they are ready.
- Sort, grade, and pack produce into crates or boxes for shipping.
- Assist with planting, watering, and fertilizing crops.
- Hoe and clean fields to remove weeds and stones.
- Help load and unload farm supplies and harvested products.
- Perform basic maintenance on farm tools and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
- No formal education or degree is required.
- Prior experience with melons or squash is a big plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a rural area (note: there is no public transportation nearby).
- Must be able to follow safety rules and work instructions in English.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, during peak season.
Work Conditions
This is a physically demanding job that requires heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs or 13.5 kg). You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and dust. The work involves repetitive tasks like bending and standing for long periods.
