Job Description

Nature Fresh Farms Inc. is looking for dependable General Labourers to support daily operations at its Leamington facility. This role involves assisting with planting, harvesting, sorting, packaging, and general farm maintenance. The position is ideal for individuals who are physically capable, hardworking, and willing to work in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

The opportunity is open to Canadian residents and foreign nationals who are legally eligible to work in Canada. Employer support for a work permit may be considered for qualified foreign workers in full compliance with Canadian immigration regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with planting, harvesting, and handling crops
2. Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of fields, greenhouses, and work areas
4. Operate basic farm tools and equipment under supervision
5. Support other farm tasks as assigned by supervisors
6. Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and food safety standards
7. Report operational or equipment issues promptly

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for long hours
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic understanding of farm operations is an asset
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
• Previous farm or agricultural experience is a plus
• Basic English communication skills preferred

Salary (Per Hour)

CAD $16.50 – $18.50 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities, in accordance with Ontario employment standards
