Job Description

Les Entreprises Robert Charette Inc. is seeking an experienced and responsible Poultry Operation Supervisor to oversee daily poultry farming operations in Saint-Gabriel, Quebec. This role involves supervising farm staff, ensuring animal welfare standards, and maintaining efficient poultry production processes.

The position is open to Canadian residents and foreign workers who are legally eligible to work in Canada. Employer support for a work permit or LMIA may be considered for qualified foreign candidates, in line with Canadian immigration regulations and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise daily poultry farm operations and staff activities
2. Monitor bird health, feeding schedules, and living conditions
3. Ensure compliance with animal welfare, biosecurity, and food safety standards
4. Coordinate work schedules and assign daily tasks
5. Maintain production records and farm reports
6. Train workers on proper poultry handling and safety procedures
7. Identify and report operational or health issues promptly

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in poultry farming or livestock supervision
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of poultry health, feeding, and housing practices
• Ability to work in a farm environment and manage multiple tasks
• Understanding of workplace safety and hygiene standards
• Good communication skills (French or English preferred)
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Salary

• Hourly / annual compensation: CAD $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
  (Equivalent annual salary depends on experience, responsibilities, and hours worked)
