Farm Labourer

Job Description

Stoski Farms is seeking reliable and hardworking Farm Labourers to assist with daily farm operations at their Gilbert Plains, Manitoba location. The role involves supporting crop production, livestock care (if applicable), and general maintenance tasks in a professional and safety-conscious environment.

This position is open to both Canadian residents and foreign applicants who are eligible to apply for a Canadian work permit under recognized immigration programs. The role requires physical endurance, flexibility, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
2. Feed, water, and monitor livestock if required.
3. Operate basic farm equipment and tools safely under supervision.
4. Maintain barns, storage areas, and farm facilities.
5. Assist with loading, unloading, and moving agricultural products.
6. Follow farm safety procedures and animal welfare guidelines.
7. Report equipment issues or crop/animal concerns to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in farm work or agricultural labor preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
• Basic understanding of farm safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Basic English communication skills
• Responsible, reliable, and punctual attitude

Salary

• CAD $17 to $22 per hour, depending on experience and assigned tasks
