Highline Mushrooms, a leading mushroom grower in Alberta, is seeking reliable General Farm Workers to join their Crossfield location. This role involves assisting with all aspects of mushroom production, including planting, harvesting, and packaging. Candidates should be hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical tasks in a fast-paced farm environment. This position is open to foreign workers requiring visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant, grow, and care for mushroom crops according to company standards.
2. Harvest mushrooms by hand, ensuring minimal damage to the product.
3. Sort, clean, and package mushrooms for distribution.
4. Monitor crop growth and report any issues to supervisors.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization in production areas.
6. Operate and maintain farm equipment safely.
7. Assist in inventory control and stock management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous farm or agricultural experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
• Good communication skills.

Salary

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
