Job Description
Snowbirds Auto Connection Ltd. is seeking responsible and safety-focused Truck Drivers to support its transportation and logistics operations in Concord, Ontario. This position involves the safe operation of trucks for scheduled deliveries and vehicle transport while ensuring compliance with Canadian road safety and company standards.
This opportunity is open to Canadian residents and foreign workers who are legally eligible to work in Canada. Employer support for a work permit or LMIA may be considered for qualified foreign applicants, depending on eligibility, operational needs, and compliance with Canadian immigration regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate trucks safely for local and regional transportation
- Transport vehicles or goods according to assigned schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure cargo is secured and transported safely
- Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records
- Follow all road safety laws and company policies
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and management
- Report vehicle issues or delays promptly
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Canadian truck driver’s license (or equivalent eligible for conversion)
- Clean or acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of Ontario traffic and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic communication skills in English
- Physically capable of performing driving-related duties
- Previous truck driving experience is preferred but not mandatory
Salary
- Hourly / annual pay: CAD $24.00 – $32.00 per hour
(Equivalent annual earnings depend on hours, routes, and experience)
Final compensation is based on experience, license type, and workload.
