This is an excellent opportunity that includes visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. As the Supervisor of Security Guards, your main responsibility will be ensuring the safety and security of our client’s premises. You will coordinate the deployment of security personnel to various locations, supervise there activities, and maintain high standards of performance. In addition, you will work closely with clients to understand there specific needs and provide effective security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of security guards, ensuring they are properly trained and motivated
- Assign duties and shifts to security personnel based on client requirements
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure guards are adhering to company policies and procedures
- Handle escalations or incidents promptly and effectively
- Maintain accurate records related to personnel, incidents, and shift schedules
- Communicate regularly with clients to address concerns or updates
- Ensure compliance with local regulations relating to security services
Requirements:
- Prior experience in security services, preferably in a supervisory role
- Valid provincial security guard license (or ability to obtain one)
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower your team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written)
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends and nights as required
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass a background check
