2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
3. Control access points and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting
4. Conduct regular patrols to detect any signs of unauthorized activity
5. Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies
6. Complete accurate incident reports and maintain proper documentation
7. Collaborate with other security team members to maintain effective communication

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a security guard is preferred but not mandatory
• A valid Security Guard License issued by the relevant regulatory authority in Canada (or willingness to obtain one)
• Able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent observation skills with attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to make quick decisions
• Good physical condition and ability to stand for long periods of time
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Valid work visa or eligibility for visa sponsorship by Cargojet Inc.
