Job Description

Caledon Produce Farms Ltd. is hiring SAWP Support Workers to assist with seasonal farm operations in Burford, Ontario. This role supports agricultural workers and helps maintain smooth daily farm activities during peak harvest seasons.

As a SAWP Support Worker, you will assist with crop handling, worker coordination support, basic record keeping, and general farm duties. This is a physically active job that requires teamwork and attention to safety.

We follow Ontario Employment Standards and federal Temporary Foreign Worker Program regulations. Employees are paid fairly and work in safe conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support seasonal workers with daily farm tasks.
2. Assist in planting, harvesting, sorting, and packing produce.
3. Help maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas.
4. Monitor workplace safety and report concerns.
5. Keep simple production and attendance records.
6. Provide basic guidance to new seasonal workers.
7. Ensure cleanliness of work and common areas.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience in farming or agriculture is an asset.
• Ability to work long hours during peak season.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Responsible, organized, and team-oriented.
