As an Office Boy at Cargojet Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and tidiness, running errands, assisting with administrative tasks, and providing support to various departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office premises
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Ensure all office areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Deliver and pick up packages, documents, and other items as required
- Handle basic administrative tasks such as sorting mail and answering phone calls
- Provide support to different departments when necessary
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Office Boy or similar role is preferred but not mandatory
- A valid work visa or the ability to obtain one through sponsorship by Cargojet Inc.
- A strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Good physical stamina for performing cleaning tasks
- An ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Able to work well independently as well as part of a team
