As a Sales and Marketing professional at Shangri-La Toronto, you will play a vital role in driving sales revenue and promoting our luxurious hotel to both domestic and international guests. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic sales plans, executing marketing initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
2. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders
3. Create compelling marketing campaigns to promote the hotel’s offerings across various channels
4. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of events and promotions
5. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
6. Conduct regular sales presentations and participate in industry events to enhance brand visibility
7. Provide exceptional customer service by understanding guest needs and recommending appropriate solutions

Requirements:

• Prior experience in hotel sales or marketing roles is preferred
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of market dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth through effective strategies and excellent negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• A valid work permit or eligibility for Visa Sponsorship in Canada is required for foreigners
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and CRM software is advantageous
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a strong team player mentality
