As a Fruit Farm Labourer at Juicy-Fruit Orchards, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our orchard. Your responsibilities will include harvesting, planting, pruning, irrigating, and general maintenance tasks necessary for the successful growth and development of our fruit trees.
Responsibilities:
- Harvesting fruits according to quality standards
- Assisting with planting and transplanting activities
- Pruning and training fruit trees
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Irrigating crops as needed
- Weeding, thinning, and pest control
- Packing and sorting harvested fruits for shipping
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas
- Following safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- No prior experience is required – we provide on-the-job training!
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A valid work visa or permit for Canada (Visa sponsorship available)
