Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure timely delivery of meals to residents’ rooms or dining areas
- Assist with meal planning, menu development, and inventory management
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maintaining hygiene standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident needs and concerns
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure residents’ dietary restrictions are met
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a food service or hospitality role is an asset
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- A positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing demands
- A valid work permit or eligibility for Visa sponsorship in Canada
- The ability to communicate effectively in English (additional language skills are an asset)
