Cargojet Inc., a leading Canadian cargo airline, is currently seeking talented Engineers to joint our team in Canada. As an Engineer at Cargojet Inc., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of engineering tasks, including aircraft inspections, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and repairs. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of aircraft systems
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft issues
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely completion of maintenance activities
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards
- Participate in training programs as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Possess relevant engineering experience in the aviation industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with Transport Canada regulations (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one for international travel if required
