Job Description
Hilton Canada is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our Maintenance and Facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout our luxury hotel properties. You will work with state-of-the-art facilities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in hotel facilities
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical fixtures, circuits, panels, and backup power systems
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
- Ensure all work complies with Canadian electrical codes and safety regulations
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to support uninterrupted guest experiences
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to complete complex projects efficiently
- Monitor electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues before they become critical
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reduce operational costs
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and properly organized at all times
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent in your province
- Minimum 3 years of professional electrical work experience
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and security clearance
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and tools
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations (Canadian standards)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
