As an Armed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients and there assets. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of security by patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to any potential threats or incidents swiftly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity
- Monitor surveillance systems to detect suspicious activities or unauthorized personnel
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance
- Escort individuals as required within the premises
- Maintain detailed incident reports and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Stay updated on security best practices and industry trends
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Armed Security Guard or similar role is essential
- A valid Security Guard License issued by the appropriate provincial regulatory body (if applicable)
- A valid Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) for firearms is required
- Able to pass extensive background checks and physical fitness assessments
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and security protocols
