Key Responsibilities
- Feed and water livestock according to established schedules and nutritional guidelines
- Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any signs of illness or distress to supervisors
- Clean and sanitize barns, pens, and feeding areas to maintain biosecurity standards
- Assist with moving livestock between facilities using safe handling techniques
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on farm machinery and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of feed consumption, animal counts, and health observations
- Follow all biosecurity protocols, food safety regulations, and animal welfare standards
- Assist with breeding, hatching, and chick-rearing operations as required
- Participate in farm maintenance tasks including fence repair and facility upkeep
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily farm operations
- Adhere to workplace safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support processing and quality control activities during peak production periods
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
- Previous experience in farm work, animal care, or agriculture (preferred but not mandatory)
- Physical ability to lift up to 25kg and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
