Job Description

Hilton Canada is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team. Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms according to Hilton’s strict quality standards and standard operating procedures
  • Perform deep cleaning of bathrooms, including sanitizing fixtures, tiles, and mirrors to perfection
  • Change bed linens, wash and fold towels, and ensure all bedding is fresh and properly arranged
  • Dust and vacuum all surfaces, furniture, and floor areas in guest rooms and common areas
  • Empty and replace trash receptacles, restocking supplies and toiletries as needed
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of the housekeeping cart and supplies throughout the shift
  • Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or guest requests to the housekeeping supervisor
  • Turn around rooms efficiently to meet check-in deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Inspect rooms prior to marking as clean, ensuring all details meet established guidelines
  • Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and inquiries
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following proper cleaning procedures and handling chemicals safely
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall housekeeping operations and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain proper grooming and wearing of uniform according to company standards

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid government-issued identification and proof of work authorization in Canada
  • Ability to pass a background check and security screening
  • Comfortable working full-time, including flexibility for varying schedules
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) regularly and stand for extended periods
