Hilton Canada is seeking professional, courteous, and safety-conscious Drivers to join our transportation and guest services teams across our portfolio of hotels and resorts. As a Driver at Hilton, you are more than a chauffeur — you are a hospitality ambassador who ensures that every guest’s journey is as exceptional as their stay. From airport shuttle runs to local area transfers, your role is essential to creating seamless, stress-free travel experiences.

In this role, you will operate hotel shuttle vehicles, luxury vans, and passenger buses to transport guests between airports, train stations, local attractions, and hotel properties. You will greet guests warmly, assist with luggage, provide local area information, and ensure that all transportation services reflect Hilton’s world-class standards. Whether you are conducting early morning airport runs in Toronto, evening shuttles to Niagara Falls attractions, or corporate transfers in downtown Vancouver, you will be a vital part of the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Transportation Services

• Operate hotel shuttle vehicles, vans, and buses to transport guests between airports, train stations, cruise terminals, and hotel properties
• Maintain strict adherence to published shuttle schedules while remaining flexible to accommodate flight delays and guest requests
• Greet guests warmly at pickup locations, assist with loading and unloading luggage, and ensure comfortable seating
• Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining options, hotel amenities, and area directions
• Assist guests with mobility needs, including operating wheelchair lifts and securing mobility devices when required

Vehicle Operation & Maintenance

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and mechanical reliability
• Maintain accurate vehicle logs including mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance records, and incident reports
• Keep shuttle vehicles clean, stocked with amenities (water, newspapers, Wi-Fi information), and presentable at all times
• Report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns to the engineering or transportation supervisor immediately
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, hotel policies, and commercial vehicle regulations

Safety & Compliance

• Obey all traffic laws, speed limits, and commercial driving regulations in all provinces of operation
• Enforce seatbelt use and ensure passenger safety throughout all journeys
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and notify management of any changes to driving status
• Complete defensive driving training and participate in ongoing safety education programs
• Respond appropriately to vehicle emergencies, accidents, or medical situations involving guests

Guest Relations & Communication

• Communicate professionally with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds, maintaining patience and courtesy at all times
• Coordinate with front desk, concierge, and bell staff to ensure timely pickups and seamless guest transitions
• Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding transportation services with empathy and effective problem-solving
• Assist with special event transportation, group transfers, and VIP guest services as directed
• Maintain radio or mobile communication with hotel operations to report delays, traffic conditions, or emergencies

Administrative & Operational Duties

• Complete daily trip sheets, passenger manifests, and transportation logs accurately and on time
• Process guest transportation charges, vouchers, and billing documentation according to hotel procedures
• Assist with parking lot monitoring, valet services, and traffic direction during peak periods when needed
• Support the transportation team with vehicle scheduling, route planning, and coverage for absent colleagues
• Attend pre-shift briefings and team meetings to stay informed of hotel events, VIP arrivals, and operational updates

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Class G driver’s license (or provincial equivalent) with a clean driving record for the past three years
• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience in a commercial, hospitality, or customer service capacity
• Ability to pass a driving record check, background check, and drug screening
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, load luggage, and assist passengers with mobility needs
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid work authorization for Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a shuttle driver, hotel driver, limousine chauffeur, or bus driver
• Airport or hospitality transportation experience
• Commercial driver’s license (Class F, Class B, or equivalent) for properties operating larger shuttle buses
• Defensive driving certification or completion of a professional driver training program
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of local area geography, traffic patterns, and major attractions
• Experience with GPS navigation systems and transportation dispatch software
