Job Description
PCL Construction is hiring Construction Laborers in Calgary, Alberta. This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to build a career in the construction industry. You will support skilled tradespeople and help with daily site operations.
As a Construction Laborer, you will perform physical tasks such as loading materials, preparing work areas, and assisting with construction activities. Safety and teamwork are very important in this role. Training and guidance will be provided on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other trades
- Clean and prepare construction sites
- Operate basic tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear
- Remove debris and maintain site cleanliness
- Support project tasks as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma (preferred but not required)
- Previous construction or labor experience is an asset
- Physical strength and ability to lift heavy materials
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Knowledge of safety practices is a plus
