General Labourers – Harvesting

Job Description

VegPro International is hiring motivated General Labourers – Harvesting to support vegetable harvesting operations at our Coldstream, British Columbia location. This role involves hands-on field work, harvesting produce, and maintaining quality standards throughout the harvest season. Foreign workers who meet Canadian employment requirements may be considered for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

1. Harvest vegetables by hand or using basic harvesting tools.
2. Sort, handle, and pack harvested produce according to quality standards.
3. Remove damaged or unsuitable produce during harvesting.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in harvesting areas.
5. Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and farm procedures.
6. Work cooperatively with supervisors and harvesting teams to meet daily targets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous farm or harvesting experience is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and positive work attitude.

Salary

$17 – $22 per hour (based on experience and job performance)
