Job Description

Aberhart Farms Inc. is seeking motivated and reliable Farm Production Assistants to support crop and farm operations in Langenburg, Saskatchewan. This role involves assisting with planting, harvesting, equipment operation, and general farm production tasks. The position is suitable for individuals who are physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to work in an agricultural environment.

The position is open to Canadian residents and foreign nationals who are legally eligible to work in Canada. Employer support for a work permit may be considered for qualified foreign applicants in accordance with Canadian immigration regulations and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with planting, growing, and harvesting crops
2. Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision
3. Perform general farm upkeep, including weeding, cleaning, and maintenance
4. Load, unload, and transport farm materials and produce safely
5. Monitor crop and field conditions and report issues to supervisors
6. Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and farm operational procedures
7. Support other seasonal and daily farm production tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding farm work
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic understanding of farming operations is an asset
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Previous farm or agricultural experience is preferred but not required
• Basic English communication skills preferred

Salary (Per Hour)

CAD $16.50 – $18.50 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities, in accordance with Saskatchewan employment standards
