Chicken Farmer Job in Canada with Visa Sponsorship
Job Description
Harper Creek Agro Corp. is seeking responsible and hardworking Chicken Farmers to support daily poultry farming operations at its agricultural facility in Debolt, Alberta. This role involves hands-on work with poultry, ensuring animal health, maintaining clean facilities, and supporting efficient farm production. The position is well suited for individuals who are comfortable working in a farm environment and committed to animal care and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Care for chickens, including feeding, watering, and daily monitoring
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of poultry housing and equipment
- Monitor bird health and report any signs of illness or stress
- Collect eggs and assist with poultry handling as required
- Follow biosecurity, animal welfare, and farm safety procedures
- Assist with maintenance of barns and farm facilities
- Support general poultry farm operations during busy periods
Qualifications & Skills
- Willingness to work in a poultry farm environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Basic understanding of animal care or farm work is an asset
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
- Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, or holidays if required
- Basic English communication skills preferred
Salary (Per Hour)
CAD $16.50 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and job responsibilities, in line with Alberta employment standards
