Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers in Canada to assist individuals and families who require daily living and social support services. This role focuses on providing practical assistance, emotional support, and community-based care in a respectful and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to clients in residential or community-based programs
- Assist individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and daily routines
- Offer emotional support and encouragement in a respectful manner
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
- Support clients in developing independent living skills
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and care teams
- Follow organizational policies, safety standards, and confidentiality rules
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary training is an asset)
- Experience in caregiving, social services, or support work is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
- Basic English communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Canada or willingness to meet legal work requirements
Salary
CAD $20 – $26 per hour
