Job Description
We are looking for skilled and reliable Factory Maintenance Workers to help maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and facilities within our food production plant. This role is ideal for individuals with basic mechanical or maintenance skills who want stable employment and long-term growth opportunities in Canada. On-the-job training will be provided where required.
Salary
- CAD $20 – $28 per hour (depending on experience and skill level)
- Overtime pay in accordance with Canadian labor laws
- Weekly or bi-weekly wage payments
Roles and Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance on factory machines and equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical or electrical issues
- Inspecting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of maintenance areas
- Keeping maintenance records and reporting major issues
- Assisting with installation of new machinery when required
- Following food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous maintenance or technical work experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems
- Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment
- Basic English communication skills preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
