As a Security Guard at Boire & Frères Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and there assets.

Responsibilities:

1. Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a secure environment
2. Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly, taking appropriate action as necessary
3. Control access to the premises, verifying identification and ensuring authorized entry
4. Deter potential criminal activity by maintaining a visible presence
5. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, doors, and windows to identify any security risks or breaches
6. Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards to the appropriate authorities or supervisors
7. Maintain accurate records of daily activities and write detailed incident reports as needed
8. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing there inquiries or concerns
9. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding security protocols
10. Stay updated on the latest security trends, techniques, and technologies through continuous training

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Security Guard is preferred but not mandatory – we provide comprehensive training for newcomers
• A valid security guard license is required (we can assist with obtaining this license if you don’t have one)
• Able to speak English fluently (French language skills are an asset)
• Must be physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and perform regular patrols
• Demonstrate excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Possess strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays if required
• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (we do not provide sponsorship)
