Chepkirui Monica is an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Co-operatives and Community Development at The Co-operative University of Kenya. She is a PhD student (The Co-operative University of Kenya), a holder of Masters in Co-operative Management – Finance (The Co-operative University of Kenya) and Bachelor of Co-operative Business – Finance option (The Co-operative University of Kenya). She has been involved in preparing learning and teaching materials in co-operative related units (co-operative management, co-operative banking co-operative accounting and co-operative audit); development of curriculum for various co-operative courses; supervision of degree students conducting research in Co-operatives; supporting operations and working closely with program staff to ensure the departmental objectives are met and; participating in research and consultancy and research grant writing and implementation process. Chepkirui has gained experience in teaching and carrying out research over the years she has been working as assistant lecturer. Chepkirui has excellent research potential and ability to actively contribute to the research projects goals. She works effectively with team members to research and design project elements and generate drafts for review to create high quality proposals and reports. Chepkirui is a certified Co-operative Professional (CCOP), a founding member of Member of Kenya Society of Professional Co-operators (KSPC). She has passion for co-operatives and to gain further experience in the co-operative sector through research.
