• Coordinate project teams in BIM project set up and ensure compliance with BIM
Execution Plan (BEP)
• Execute BIM workflow and ensuring that any potential issues during modeling,
clash detection and data conversion is dealt with efficiently.
• Setup project-specific guidelines for BIM Technicians, and responsible for linking
information across disciplines
• Proficient in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support and mentoring
required to the project team
• Manage and maintain project content and source any additional content as
required
• Assigning information requirements to stakeholders and supporting the BIM
Specialist activities
• Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively
communicated to project teams
• Communicate effectively and offer support across project teams
• Coordinate production and reviews of information models across disciplines
• Information model quantity extraction and verification
• Assist staff in the department and provide technical support
• Ensure that the design standards align with CAD / BIM strategy
and link appropriately with the wider business
• Provide guidance and assistance with design projects to ensure they are setup
and progress optimally
• Assist in monitoring and reporting BIM implementation within the Department
• Understanding BIM360 collaboration process and implementing ISO 19650 to projects.
• Applying Clients standards to project files using BIM Interoperability tools.
