Dear Recruiting Team,

My name is Kanittha Kaewwongsa. At the moment, I am doing an apprenticeship in hospitality at Steigenberger Hotel in Bad Neuenahr, Germany. I hold a bachelor’s degree in German from Thammasat University, one of the best universities in Thailand. Besides my apprenticeship, I also work as a freelance content writer, self-published novelist, blogger and translator.  Three books that I translated (from English into Thai) are The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson, The Last Child by John Hart and Challenger Deep by Neels Shusterman.

Apart from the content writing and translation work, I write and post novels on the internet since I was fourteen. I am now twenty-six and run a page called “FernniZ” on facebook and a lifestyle-travel blog (www.fernnizinwonderland.com), where I share several stories and photographs of my journeys whilst travelling.

In September 2019, I moved from Thailand to Germany, the country where I spent an exchange year living in before, in a hope of expanding my horizons and exploring new opportunities. Unfortunately, since March 2020 when the pandemic started, the hotel has been hit extremely hard. Most of the people running the hotel right now are mainly the apprentice and I have not switched to a new department other than Housekeeping and Service since I have started here. I have not learnt anything anymore and feel that this is not what I signed up for. I, therefore, wish for a better change.

I am good with people and a fast learner. I have a lot of potentials as you will rarely find in one person. I write, blog, translate, design a website, planner, and even most of the covers of my self-publish books. In my free time I also love to play the guitar and I also have a strong passion for photography.

My mother language is Thai and I speak English and German fluently.  My experiences as an exchange student taught me to be open-minded, well organized and eager to learn. I hope my passion and skills are what you are looking for. I look forward to elaborating on how my abilities will benefit your organisation, as well as to learning from you.  Thank you in advance for your consideration.
