I have worked as a social worker in a local NGO dealing with children born with or infected with HIV. I used to conduct home visits and follow up case works of these clients to ensure they were adhering with medicines and also ensure they are in a good state of mind all times. The NGO used to offer group counselling sessions to discuss day to day issues as well.
Am a skilled caregiver and am patient and attentive to my clients.
Education
I wanted in depth understanding of social issues and different solutions to these issues. I learnt different causes and solutions. I believe my training equips with with enough knowledge and skills to be a good caregiver to people who are in need.
Experience
I was to ensure the client is living in safe and clean environment, ensure they were well fed with a balanced diet and ensure their families are able to generate enough income to cater for these needs and most importantly ensure the clients were taking their medicine on time and without fail and also keep up mental health issues that may arise and handle it on time.
