My tasks are install, maintain and repair all electrical equipment within the plant. Perform minor mechanical and pneumatic repairs also assist the mechanics and operators as needed. Support and help other electricians and engineers as required.
• Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment’s (electrical motors LV and MV, UPS, power transformers HV/MV and MV/LV, motorized valves).
• Supervision and reporting of electrical works.
• Interpreting work instructions, drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance work.
• Tracing, diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.
• Connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components.
• Technical support of commissioning and start-up of all electrical equipment.
• Logging and tag out circuit breakers (LV, MV and HV).
• Maintenance, repair and start assist of gas boilers (ABB, IHI, and ATLASCOPCO).
• Install, test and adjust protection of electric motors (LV and MV)
• Technical support during start-up of steam turbine (MITSUMI).
• Technical support of DCS during start-up (PLC: HONEYWELL, A. BRADLEY).
• Presided over cable tray install, pulling wire, terminating of wires, grounding and bonding, installation of field devices and equipment.
