I am a student of International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Padua. It is a multidisciplinary course that focus mostly on courses relating law and economics, the most prominent ones being: International Economics, EU Private Law, International Humanitarian and War Law, International Law of the Sea, and Foreign Investment Law. During my studies as an undergraduate scholar I had the opportunity, and the pleasure, of studying abroad at the University of Reading, where I completed a term among many other international students. This experience led me to further my intercultural background, creating relations with people that are alive to this day. I concluded my first three years in Padua with a dissertation titled “The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the performance of the British and Italian National Health systems”. This topic let me provide a comparative case study of the aforementioned countries, by going into detail into their history and exploring their main strengths and weaknesses. The quality of my work, added to my other merits acquired during my studies, led to my graduation with a mark of 101/110.
As for my professional career, I had the chance of experiencing first hand different sectors and ways of working. I’ve operated in a real estate agency as a summer job, I was employed during my undergraduate degree for an administrative role in a logistics company, and I’ve worked as a delivery driver and occasional kitchen helper for a local restaurant. My town also manages to exploit its natural scenery well, leading me to provide aid for volunteering occasions.
Having seen so many different contexts, and studying in such a multicultural environment, I am constantly eager to learn and be in contact with people.
