Nickel Farms Limited is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Vineyard Workers. As a Vineyard Worker, you will play a vital role in all aspects of vineyard operations, from planting and pruning to harvesting and maintenance. Your main responsibilities will include tending to the vines, monitoring plant health, operating machinery and equipment, and assisting with general farm tasks. We understand that moving to a new country can be daunting, which is why we offer Visa Sponsorship for eligible candidates. This means that we will support you in obtaining the necessary work permits and visas to work legally in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Planting, pruning, and maintaining grapevines
- Monitoring plant health and identifying any signs of disease or pests
- Assisting with irrigation systems
- Operating machinery such as tractors and harvesters
- Harvesting grapes at the optimal time
- Assisting with general farm tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a vineyard or agricultural setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks
- Dedication and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- A strong desire to learn about vineyard operations and contribute to the success of our farm
