As a Taxi Driver at VICTORIA DESIGNATED DRIVER SERVICES LTD., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our valued customers. You will be responsible for picking up passengers, following designated routes, and delivering them to there desired destinations in a prompt and courteous manner.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle following all traffic laws and regulations
- Pick up passengers from designated locations and transport them to there destinations
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or personal belongings
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, performing regular inspections and reporting any issues
- Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, professional, and accommodating
- Handle cash payments or process electronic transactions accurately
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fares
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience as a taxi driver is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with the local area’s roads, landmarks, and attractions
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- A friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills
- The ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- A willingness to undergo any necessary background checks or screenings required by local regulations
