As an Airport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our airport facilities, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the overall operations of the airport, including ground handling, security, and maintenance
2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance airport efficiency and safety
3. Oversee the training and supervision of airport staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
4. Liaise with regulatory authorities, airport partners, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Analyze airport performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations
6. Develop and manage the airport’s budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective operations
7. Represent Cargojet Inc. at industry events and build strong relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport management or a related field
• Strong knowledge of airport operations, including ground handling, security, and maintenance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in data analysis and performance management
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Adaptable to changing regulations and industry trends
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Valid airport or aviation-related certifications (e.g., ICAO, IATA) are an asset
