We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistants to join our team at Agincare in the UK. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our elderly clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and privacy
2. Provide support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication management
3. Monitor clients’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
4. Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions to enhance their quality of life
5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care, following all relevant policies and procedures
6. Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
7. Advocate for clients’ needs and ensure their preferences are respected

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Senior Care Assistant or equivalent in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
