Riverdale Poultry, one of Canada’s leading poultry farms, is seeking dedicated individuals to joint our team as Poultry Farm Workers. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily care and management of poultry, including feeding, watering, and ensuring a clean living environment
- Monitor the health and welfare of the birds, promptly reporting any issues or concerns to the supervisor
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning barns, repairing equipment, and maintaining farm facilities
- Follow strict biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of diseases and maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with egg collection and sorting
- Operate machinery and equipment used in poultry farming
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Prior experience working on a poultry farm is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated individuals who show a genuine interest in agriculture
- Able to work in physically demanding conditions (lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods)
- Dedicated team player with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with animal care practices and basic knowledge of poultry farming operations is an asset
- A valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship in Canada
