RPS Hawk Inc., a leading poultry farm in Canada, is seeking dedicated individuals to joint our team as Poultry Farm Workers. We are also offering visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. As a Poultry Farm Worker, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our farm. You will be responsible for the care and well-being of our poultry, ensuring there health, safety, and overall welfare. Your main duties will include feeding and watering the birds, monitoring there growth and behavior, cleaning and maintaining the poultry houses, and assisting with general farm tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Feeding and watering poultry according to the schedule
- Monitoring bird health and identifying any signs of illness or distress
- Cleaning poultry houses and maintaining proper sanitation standards
- Collecting eggs and ensuring there safe storage
- Assisting with vaccinations and other necessary medical procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of bird inventory, feed consumption, and other relevant data
- Operating farm equipment such as tractors or loaders as required
- Assisting with general farm maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience in poultry farming is preferred but not mandatory
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new farming techniques
- Physical fitness to handle manual labor in various weather conditions
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver’s license is an asset but not essential
- Flexibility to work weekends or holidays when required by the farm schedule
