Job Description:

Agrium Inc., a leading agricultural company in Canada, is seeking experienced Livestock Handlers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for foreign nationals to secure a position with visa sponsorship, allowing you to live and work in Canada.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the proper handling, feeding, and care of livestock according to industry best practices and animal welfare standards
2. Monitor the health and well-being of animals, and report any issues or concerns to the veterinarian
3. Maintain clean and organized animal housing and facilities
4. Assist with the movement and transportation of livestock as needed
5. Collaborate with the veterinary and farm management team to implement herd health protocols
6. Maintain detailed records of animal health, feeding, and other relevant data
7. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to protect the well-being of the animals and yourself

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with livestock, preferably in a commercial farming or ranching environment
• Strong animal handling skills and a deep understanding of animal behavior and welfare
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate farm equipment
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
• Willingness to relocate to Canada and obtain the necessary work visa with our sponsorship
