Qualification & Experience:

• Educational Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: At least one year of experience in operating lift trucks and managing material handling in a warehouse/distribution center environment
• Certifications: Lift Truck Operator Certification preferred
• Language: English proficiency required; French language skills would be an asset

Job Responsibilities:

1. Material Handling: Operate lift trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise around the warehouse.
2. Safety Compliance: Ensure safe and efficient use of the lift truck, adhering to all safety protocols and operating procedures.
3. Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory and ensure accurate tracking of all items.
4. Loading/Unloading: Efficiently handle the loading and unloading of materials from vehicles, ensuring no damage and accurate placement.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks and basic maintenance of lift trucks to ensure optimal functionality.

Job Requirements:

• Physical Fitness: Capability to lift and move heavy items and operate material handling machinery.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of lift truck operation and basic mechanical knowledge related to maintenance.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate handling and recording of materials.
• Safety Adherence: Strict adherence to all workplace safety protocols and guidelines.
• Time Management: Effective management of tasks to ensure timely completion.
