As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items under the guidance of our experienced chefs
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean, sanitized, and properly stored
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as required
- Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, refrigerators, and storage areas
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow instructions from senior chefs and complete tasks efficiently
- Support in maintaining inventory levels by rotating stock as needed
- Assist with general kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors or management
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Kitchen Helper or similar role is preferred but not mandatory; we also welcome individuals who are enthusiastic about starting their career in the culinary field
- A valid work visa for Canada is required
- A positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently complete tasks within given deadlines
- Familiarity with basic food handling procedures and safety protocols is an asset
