As an Indian cook at AMTD Versante Hotel, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes that delight our guests. Your expertise in preparing a wide variety of Indian recipes, including curries, tandoori dishes, biryanis, and more, will be invaluable in providing an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Indian dishes
- Create and modify recipes to meet guest preferences and dietary restrictions
- Ensure food quality and presentation are consistently excellent
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Indian cook or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated ability to prepare a variety of Indian dishes with precision and creativity
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient preparation during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry
- Valid work permit or willingness to obtain visa sponsorship for employment in Canada at AMTD Versante Hotel.
