Job Description

Chartwell Hospitality is seeking detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeping Attendants to join our housekeeping teams across multiple managed properties in Canada. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable stay.

You will work as part of a collaborative housekeeping team under the guidance of an Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor, following established brand standards and safety protocols to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, ensuring all surfaces, fixtures, and linens meet hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Replace used towels, linens, and guest amenities with fresh supplies.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damage, or missing items and report findings promptly to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and fitness centers.
  • Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and laundry machines safely and efficiently.
  • Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for hazardous materials, biohazards, and waste.
