As a General Labourer at Pineneedle Farms Inc., you will be responsible for assisting with various agricultural tasks such as planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general farm duties including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
- Assist with irrigation systems and crop maintenance
- Monitor crop health and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
- Participate in cleaning and maintaining the farm premises
- Follow all health and safety regulations on the farm
- Work efficiently and complete assigned tasks within given timeframes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations on the farm
Requirements:
- Valid work visa or permit for Canada (Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
- Prior experience in general labor or farming would be an asset, but not required
- Physical fitness to carry out manual labor in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Eager to learn new skills related to farming operations
- Dedicated work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency is preferred)
