As a General Farm Worker at Mucci Farms Ltd, you will be responsible for various tasks related to crop production and farm maintenance. This includes but is not limited to planting, cultivating, irrigating, weeding, harvesting, and packing crops. You will work closely with a team of experienced farm professionals who will provide guidance and training to help you thrive in your role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of crop production, including planting, cultivating, irrigating, weeding, harvesting, and packing
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
Requirements:
- Prior experience in farming or agriculture is an asset but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills (basic English language proficiency is required)
- Flexibility with working hours as some positions may require weekend or night shifts
- A valid work permit or visa that allows you to work in Canada (for foreigners)
