Are you passionate about agriculture and looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a farm in Canada? Ouest Fraser Inc. is currently seeking a General Farm Worker – Harvesting to joint our team. As a General Farm Worker – Harvesting, your main responsibility will be to assist with the harvesting of crops on our farm. You will work closely with the farm manager and other team members to ensure that crops are harvested efficiently and according to quality standards. Your tasks may include picking fruits or vegetables, operating machinery, sorting and packaging produce, and maintaining the cleanliness of the harvest area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the harvesting of crops
- Pick fruits or vegetables according to quality standards
- Operate machinery such as tractors or harvesters
- Sort and package produce for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness in the harvest area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Prior experience working on a farm or in agricultural settings is preferred but not required
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Valid visa or work permit for Canada (Visa sponsorship available)
- Good communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus)
