Gibson’s Berry Farm, located in Canada, is seeking dedicated and hardworking Fruit Farm Workers to joint our team. We are offering job opportunities with visa sponsorship for foreign workers who are passionate about agriculture and have the desire to work on a vibrant fruit farm. As a Fruit Farm Worker at Gibson’s Berry Farm, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the cultivation and maintenance of fruits. This includes planting, pruning, harvesting, and packaging fruits such as berries, apples, and peaches. You will work closely with a team of experienced farm workers under the guidance of our Farm Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Planting, pruning, and maintaining fruit trees and bushes
- Harvesting fruits at the peak of ripeness
- Sorting and packaging fruits for distribution
- Operating agricultural machinery and equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the farm
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with general farm duties as required
Requirements:
- Prior experience in fruit farming or agriculture is preferred but not mandatory
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Valid work permit or willingness to obtain necessary visa sponsorship
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends if needed
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
