Job Description
We are currently hiring hardworking and detail-oriented Construction Painters to support various building and renovation projects. This role is ideal for individuals with an eye for detail who take pride in producing clean, high-quality finishes. Both experienced painters and motivated beginners are encouraged to apply, as on-the-job training may be provided.
Salary
- CAD $20 – $30 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
- Overtime pay according to Canadian labor laws
- Weekly or bi-weekly wage payments
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Applying paint, varnish, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Mixing and matching paint colors as required
- Protecting surrounding areas with drop sheets and masking tape
- Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Following workplace safety guidelines and using protective equipment
- Cleaning tools and maintaining equipment after use
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous painting or construction experience preferred
- Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and techniques
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or for long hours
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
- Basic English communication skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail and work quality
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
