Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work as a Cashier in one of the most prestigious hotels in Toronto, Canada? Shangri-La Toronto is currently seeking talented and motivated individuals to joint our team as Cashiers. As a Cashier at Shangri-La Toronto, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. You will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized cashier station, and ensuring that guests have a seamless and pleasant experience during there visit.

Responsibilities:

1. Accurately process cash transactions, including payments, refunds, and exchanges
2. Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered by the hotel
3. Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, answering any questions they may have
4. Ensure that the cashier station is well-stocked, clean, and organized at all times
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
6. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
7. Adhere to all cash handling procedures and policies to prevent any discrepancies

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills
• Ability to handle cash accurately while providing excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are an asset)
• A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not required (training will be provided)
• A valid work visa or eligibility to work in Canada
